Travel requirements continue to evolve rapidly and can vary by country. Many countries now require proof of insurance prior to entry. In response to this requirement, we can provide a summary letter of your travel insurance plan benefits, which we informally refer to as an Embassy Letter.
The Embassy Letter provides confirmation of the following:
- Insureds covered by the insurance plan
- Emergency Medical and Emergency Medical Transportation benefits, plus benefit limit
- Overview of our claims policy for travelers that become ill with COVID-19 while on their trip
If you’re not sure whether the information provided in the Embassy Letter satisfies the requirements of your destination country, we recommend that you or your travel advisor contact the nearest embassy or consulate of that country to confirm.
To request an Embassy Letter ahead of your trip, please complete the form below and allow 24-48 hours for response.
